La Pinta is Metropolitan Touring’s flagship expedition yacht, accommodating up to 48 guests on cruises through Ecuador’s Galápagos Islands. Combining comfortable accommodation with a focus on wildlife and exploration, the yacht offers itineraries of four, six and eight nights across different regions of the archipelago.
Its 24 sea-facing cabins feature large windows, private bathrooms and individually controlled air conditioning. Accommodation includes 20 Luxury Cabins and four larger Luxury Plus Cabins, with interconnecting options available for families. Onboard facilities include a restaurant, lounge and bar, outdoor dining area, natural history library, sun deck, hot tub and fitness room.
Exploration is led by certified naturalist guides, with excursion groups of approximately 12 guests. Activities include guided walks, snorkelling, kayaking, paddleboarding, coastal excursions and glass-bottom boat rides, depending on the visitor site. An Expedition Leader and onboard Medical Officer provide additional support throughout the voyage.
